Dead Moose in Lambert Park
The winter of 2018-2019 was a very wet one, causing record amounts of snow to fall in the high country. This forced many animals to lower elevations as they couldn't navigate the snow levels. This moose wandered into Lambert Park in February, and somehow injured his leg and passed away. The Utah Department of Wildlife Resources elected not to remove the moose, but allow it to decompose in place. They placed a camera on the moose to see if they could catch any predators feeding off the carcass. They shared some of these pictures with us.
