The Petersen Arboretum is located at the corner of Ridge Drive and 100 East.  Its boasts a collection of trees gathered from all over the state and country, including Big Tooth and Amur Maples, Tri-colored Oaks, and the Giant Sequoias. Harvey Hutchinson, who lives adjacent to the park, gathered a host of volunteers to help with the planting and cultivation of the trees in the late 90's. He also built the covered bridge next to the old milking barn. Across the bridge there is a beautiful statue entitled, "Run, Etta, Run." This is a great place for a stroll with the family or a jog through the park!
